Pavel manages VC investments across the EBRD region and leads policy initiatives supporting the venture capital ecosystem. Previously, he was an EBRD economist developing investment strategies and impact assessments. Before EBRD, he worked at Deloitte as a management consultant on due diligence for PE funds and strategy in CEE. Pavel holds a Ph.D. in Economics from CERGE-EI, CFA and CAIA certifications.
